Lucia Lloyd, Rector

Lucia Lloyd loves doing ministry with such a welcoming and energetic congregation that has so much courage, dedication, faith, and joy!  Lucia was raised as a Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, and felt a call to ordained ministry from her teenage years.  She has also had a lifelong love of literature, and studied English at Davidson College (with a junior year abroad at Oxford) before going to Princeton Theological Seminary.  She continued to pursue both interests, as her graduate education included an M.A.R. in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School, an M.A. in English from Middlebury College, and an M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary.  She has taught religion and literature at Linden Hall School, St. Margaret's School, and Rappahannock Community College.  She also served as a chaplain at VCU (MCV) Hospital in Richmond.  In 2005 she was ordained a priest, and served as the Assistant Rector of St. Thomas's Episcopal Church in Richmond for three years before she was called to St. Stephen's in 2008.  Lucia lives in Tappahannock with her husband Marshall, who is a Latin teacher at St. Margaret's School, and their two teenage daughters.

Terry Bain, Office Manager

Terry has been Office Manager at St Stephen's since March 2010.
