Education

Bible Study and Adult Formation

One of the key elements articulated in St. Stephen's vision as a "thirst for life-long spiritual growth and knowledge".

St. Stephen's offers a number of education and spiritual growth opportunities:

Parish Religious Education Program

Our Sunday morning education program will resume starting in February. The sessions will be held at 10:30 after coffee hour in the parish hall. We will pick up where we left off last spring with the series on Saints on the first Sunday of the month, Spiritual Autobiographies of our parishioners on the second Sunday, a book of the Bible on the third, and the history of The Episcopal Church on the fourth. The schedule for February is

Feb 5th: St. Brigid, led by Barbara MacCameron

Feb 12: Ben Green's spiritual autobiography

Feb 26: Gospel of Matthew

We will be offering the Inquirers' Class after coffee hour in March and April, and then will pick up with this series again in May. We hope you will participate in this program of education and enrichment!

Book Discussion Group

The group meets each month at one of the group member's homes. The group selects an eclectic mix of genres, both secular and religious.

Contact Greg Balchin  if you are interested in joining
the book group or being put on the mailing list.
