Oyster & Oldies has been held annually since 2007 at historic Roanoke Farm in Heathsville. The event is held
on the first Saturday in December, and features roasted
local oysters, homemade St. Stephen's Chili, Hot Dogs,
and "Oldies" music from the 40's through the 80's.
St. Stephen's conducts 5 community and fundraising events annually. Funds raised ure used to finance St Stephen's Outreach Ministries, especially the Water Ministry and donations to local and international service organizations such as Hospice of the Northern Neck, Interfaith, the Haven, the Episcopal Relief Fund, etc.
The Strawberry Festival is a Heathsville tradition on Memorial Day Weekend. A craft fair featuring more than 150 quality craft artists, fresh strawberries, strawberry shortcake, a large plant and bake sale, music, and a variety of food, the Festival draws major crowds from across the region.
The annual Blessing of the Animals takes place on the Saturday closest to St Francis' feast day. Pets of all types are invited for the traditional blessing, followed by demonstrations featuring working and service animals.

BBQ & Bluegrass has been held annually since 2007 at historic Roanoke Farm in Heathsville on the last Saturday in June. The event features live Bluegrass music by some of the region's top bluegrass bands, and a traditional pig roast and barbecue.
