Lenten Soup and Learning Series
This year, our Wednesday evening Lenten soup and learning series will explore the topic of Faith & Literature. Each week, we will discover how great writers have used their creativity to delve into the life of faith and the mysteries of God. We will be looking at the works of Dante, C.S. Lewis, Graham Greene, and Flannery O'Connor, based on a lecture series I used to give at various Richmond churches, and Barbara MacCameron will be doing a presentation on a poet of her choice.
The series will be on Wednesday evenings during Lent, starting at 6:00. We will continue our tradition of doing this Lenten program jointly with St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Fleeton, and each church will take turns hosting it on alternate weeks. Thank you to Dee David and Linda St. George who will be providing soup and bread for us on March 8th. If you can bring a couple pots of soup and some bread on either March 22nd or April 5th, please reply to me.
The schedule is below. Please plan to come and bring friends!
