Our Films of the Spirit night on Fri, Sept. 4 will feature “How Green Was My Valley”, a 1941 drama set in the South Wales Valleys during the late Victorian era. It chronicles the life of a Welsh mining family, The Morgans, in the coalfields of South Wales, the loss of that way of life and its effects on the family.
