Donations for VFF Tyler Jones and Family
The family of Tyler Jones, a fireman with the Westmoreland VFD, lost their home in Montross in a house fire on January 24. The WVFD will hold a spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser on February 28, and his mother has set up a GoFundMe page to gather individual donations.

Our Ash Wednesday services of Holy Eucharist will be held at noon and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18.
Lenten Soup Suppers
Lenten Soup Suppers
~We will hold our traditional Thursday night Soup Suppers during Lent. This year, we will share our experiences with the book Rooted in Love: Lent Reflections on a Life in Christ, edited by our new Archbishop of Canterbury the Most Reverend Sarah Mullally.
- The schedule will run from Thursday, February 19 through Thursday, April 2, 2026 (Maundy Thursday).
- Because there is only one day between Ash Wednesday and February 19, we will play a rousing round of The Game of Life in the Spirit at our first meeting.
- There is a sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall for those who would like to volunteer to provide soup and bread.
